This week, I’m writing from Kansas City, Missouri, where I’m immersed in the final section of my Advanced Somatic Experiencing training. This segment is dedicated to working with the deepest states of shock trauma—especially how gentle, attuned touch can support true healing. Six days of intensive learning means I’ll be returning with new insights and practical tools to share with you all, both in our community spaces and in one-to-one
work.

Tending Together: Free Community Zoom Circles

As always, community is at the heart of what we do. I’ve created a new space called Tending Together—a free, welcoming community where we gather for 30-minute Zoom sessions to practice somatic tools in real time. These circles are designed to help you ground, reset, and gently connect with your body’s wisdom, no matter what life is bringing
your way.

The first session is perfect for beginners or anyone needing a timely reset. We’ll explore the basics of nervous system regulation, simple somatic tools, and ways to build self-trust. The workshop on Oct 18th is a deeper dive—mapping your unique triggers, befriending inner parts, and integrating lasting change. You can sign up for one or both sessions—come as you are, whether you’re new or continuing your journey.
Befriend Your Story: Experiential Online WorkshopÂ
Do you feel like parts of your past are still running the show? The Befriend Your Story workshop is for anyone ready to gently turn toward old chapters—not to relive pain, but to release it. Using guided visualization, sociometry, and internal systems mapping, we’ll create a safe space to meet your inner world with curiosity and
compassion.

Identify protective parts and honor their roles
Use timelines and somatic awareness to find where energy is stuck—without retraumatization
Shift from inner conflict to collaboration through experiential practices
Help burdened parts release old roles, allowing your confident Self to lead
